Each wing/block has 16 rooms with one standard bathroom, which has two toilets, two basins and two showers. 16 Service users can be accommodated at one time. Room changes will take place during your treatment programme and each wing/block is responsible to keep their garden neat and clean.
Menu’s are in place and signed off by a professional dietitian. Halaal food is served and a separate menu is available for diabetics. The kitchen forms part of a workstation and service users will assist with the cooking, cleaning and receiving of goods. The Housekeeper is in charge of this department.
Each service user will be allocated to a workstation during his treatment programme. Workstations consists of vegetable garden; feeding animals; garden work and special projects. Each service user will work 4hrs of the day apart from their counselling sessions.
We aim to take the service users on an outing at least once a month. Outings will consists of beach outings; indoor cricket; rovers; hiking; movies & outdoor activities.
Exercise plays a vital role in recovery, all service users takes part in morning walks and fitness sessions.
